About the Role
The role leads design and execution of low‑voltage technology systems, including telecommunications rooms, structured cabling, pathways, nurse call, infant protection, safety and security, and audiovisual systems. It involves developing concepts, evaluating options, creating detailed drawings, narratives, and CSI specifications, and coordinating with clients, architects, consultants, and construction partners while providing construction administration and mentorship. • Lead design and execution of telecom, structured cabling, pathways, nurse call, infant protection, safety/security, and audiovisual systems. • Develop low‑voltage system concepts, evaluate options, and produce detailed drawings, narratives, and CSI specifications. • Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, and construction teams; provide construction administration support. • Manage project budgets, resources, and mentor junior engineers and designers.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold an associate degree in engineering technology (Bachelor’s preferred) with 12+ years of design and consulting experience in low‑voltage or electrical systems; RCDD certification is preferred and a PE license is a plus. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office, strong self‑management, communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills, and active participation in industry organizations are required. • Hold an associate degree in engineering technology (Bachelor’s preferred) and 12+ years of low‑voltage/electrical design experience. • Preferred certifications: RCDD; PE license considered a plus. • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office; strong self‑management and teamwork skills. • Demonstrated communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities; active in industry organizations.
