The primary objective of this position is to receive, verify, locate, scrap, store, and transport material used in the manufacturing process and to ensure uninterrupted production flow in the Finishing process. The role requires strict compliance with all safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area. You will notify supervisors of any problems with equipment, operations, materials, inventory, or documentation, and you will maintain equipment, complete safety check sheets, and keep a supply of necessary tools and materials. Meeting established performance standards to meet production schedules, ensuring products meet nVent’s quality specifications, and performing rotational assignments and continuous‑improvement activities are also key responsibilities. Additional duties include recording all material movements to the proper locations, performing other related tasks as assigned, and occasionally working beyond normal shift hours to meet company needs. You will work as an active team member, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that meet customer needs. • Follow all safety procedures and report hazards. • Keep work area clean, organized, and safe. • Notify supervisor of equipment, operation, material, or documentation issues. • Maintain equipment and complete safety check sheets. • Ensure supply of equipment and materials for operations. • Meet performance standards and production schedules. • Verify product meets nVent quality specifications. • Perform rotational assignments and continuous improvement activities. • Move and record material to proper locations. • Operate picking equipment and read basic blueprints. • Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and thickness gauges. • Lift up to 50 pounds and handle steel coil material.

What You Bring
The position requires at least one year of experience in a manufacturing facility and a high school diploma or equivalent. Required knowledge and skills include basic reading and writing, understanding of material flow processes, safety policies, equipment operation, blueprint reading, use of measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, copper thickness gauge), and basic math. The ability to work in a high‑stress, high‑pressure environment, lift up to 50 pounds, handle steel coil material, and communicate well with others is essential. • Have at least 1 year manufacturing experience and a high school diploma. • Understand material flow processes and safety policies. • Perform basic math calculations. • Communicate effectively with team members.
