About the Role
A Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services for customers. The driver also ensures the vehicle meets the company’s safety standards, complies with all state and federal regulations, and completes daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. Before each shift, the driver performs thorough pre‑operation inspections, checking tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls, and reports any safety issues. While on route, the driver follows the route sheet, operates manual or automatic controls to lift, load, and compact refuse, and disposes of the material at the designated facility. The driver continuously monitors waste for unacceptable materials, tags unsatisfactory containers, cleans accidental spills, and keeps the truck and packer blade clean during each disposal trip. Customer interactions are conducted courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely service. The driver maintains productivity standards, follows all safety policies, participates in the ReSOP program, and demonstrates reliability, honesty, and pride in their work. • Perform thorough pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues. • Safely operate the collection truck along assigned routes, loading, compacting, and disposing of waste. • Read route sheets, follow maps, and service each customer as scheduled. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers and monitor waste for violations. • Clean accidental waste spills and maintain truck cleanliness during each trip. • Complete route sheets, productivity reports, and daily vehicle condition reports. • Adhere to all safety policies, participate in the ReSOP program, and follow company rules. • Utilize health care and dependent care spending accounts. • Participate in the Employee and Family Assistance Program (EAP).

What You Bring
The position requires a Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement. Pay ranges from $22.40 to $30.80 per hour, varying by locality. • Hold a Class B (or higher) CDL with air‑brake endorsement.
