About the Role

The Delivery Assurance Field Representative ensures that supplier‑produced aero‑engine parts are delivered on schedule, identifies delivery issues and drives sustainable corrective actions. The role blends supply‑chain management, procurement, manufacturing and quality‑assurance disciplines and requires frequent travel to supplier sites. Key duties include monitoring MRP tools, production schedules and shop‑floor work‑in‑process, estimating and revising delivery dates, and conducting gap analyses to create mitigation plans. The rep gathers and interprets part and process data, resolves engineering questions and non‑conformances, and documents findings in reports. Strong customer‑facing skills are needed to build relationships with engineers, buyers and program managers at both OEM and supplier levels. • Ensure supplier aero‑engine parts meet delivery commitments and resolve delivery issues. • Collect and analyze part and process data to close engineering questions and non‑conformances. • Monitor MRP, production schedules, WIP and non‑conformances; adjust delivery estimates as needed. • Identify bottlenecks, perform gap analysis, develop mitigation plans and track actions to closure. • Build and maintain positive relationships with engineers, buyers and program managers at OEM and supplier levels. • Conduct part transition planning, execution and verification; produce required reports and documentation. • Assess supplier health, support supplier development and manage sub‑tier supplier involvement. • Apply purchasing, quoting and capacity‑evaluation processes within manufacturing environments. • Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T and critical characteristics; partake in process planning and readiness reviews. • Utilize quality systems, PPAP/FAI, measurement/inspection tools and problem‑solving methodologies such as Six Sigma and NCM. • Operate within AS9100/ISO9001 frameworks; create work instructions and use the MS Office suite efficiently.

What You Bring

Candidates should have experience in supply‑chain management, procurement, manufacturing processes and quality assurance, including familiarity with MRP, production scheduling, risk analysis, PPAP/FAI, Six Sigma and AS9100/ISO9001 environments. Proficiency in reading GD&T drawings, creating work instructions and using the MS Office suite is required, as is the ability to assess supplier health and support supplier development. Work is performed at supplier sites in Connecticut and remotely, with 100 % travel required and the need to lift up to 40 lb. Candidates must have their own transportation, be able to commute to the sites, and possess U.S. citizenship. • Travel to Connecticut supplier sites (100 % travel) and lift up to 40 lb; U.S. citizenship required.
