About the Role
The helper assists in installing machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints and other drawings within the establishment. • Read and interpret blueprints, layout plans, vendor manuals and schematics to determine work procedures. • Dismantle machines using hand tools such as hammers, wrenches and crowbars. • Move machinery and equipment with hoists, dollies, rollers and trucks. • Assemble and install equipment (e.g., shaffing, conveyors, tram rails) using cranes and hand/power tools. • Construct machine foundations using wood, cement and steel. • Fasten machines to foundations or structures by bolting, welding, riveting or other methods. • Operate engine lathe to grind, file and turn parts to dimensional specifications. • Install robots and modify their programs using a teach pendant. • Use transit and level for equipment setting. • Load, transport and unload materials, tools, equipment and supplies. • Perform lubricating maintenance, cleaning, and repair of tools, machines and equipment. • Observe and comply with all safety and project rules.

What You Bring
The position requires passing a pre‑employment physical and is for long‑term maintenance with no per‑diem. The work schedule is Monday‑Friday, 7:00 AM‑3:30 PM. The role is titled Millwright Helper II. Helpers range from 0 to 42 months of experience; the preferred candidate has at least six months of documented field experience in the chosen craft, can read and interpret instructions and documentation, and responsibilities increase with experience. • Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers and plumb bobs; include optical and laser alignment knowledge. • Pass pre‑employment physical and background check.
