About the Role
The role focuses on accelerating Equinix’s growth in market share and revenue within the Network Service Provider (NSP) segment by identifying new opportunities in assigned NSP accounts and expanding existing business. You will protect and expand revenue in assigned accounts while ensuring high customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, leading executive briefings, coordinating with internal and external partners, developing strategic global account plans, and delivering tailored solution pitches. You will also manage contract renewals, monitor pipeline health in Salesforce, prioritize territory planning, prospect high‑propensity accounts, and mentor junior sales professionals. • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in assigned NSP accounts. • Conduct quarterly business reviews to uncover new selling opportunities. • Lead executive briefings and coordinate a unified sales approach with internal teams and external partners. • Develop and execute strategic global account plans with cross‑regional collaboration. • Identify customer business needs and deliver customized solution pitches using Equinix’s product suite. • Drive contract renewals and negotiate terms to protect revenue and reduce churn. • Actively monitor and update opportunity status in Salesforce, forecasting at‑risk accounts. • Prioritize territory accounts and forecast sales targets for short‑ and long‑term goals. • Prospect high‑propensity prospects, especially at the C‑level, leveraging industry contacts and tools. • Lead commercial negotiations, applying commercial levers to structure optimal deal terms. • Mentor Account Executives and lead special projects on new products and best practices. • Offer health, life, disability, and voluntary insurance plans for employees and families.

Compensation is targeted between $284,000 and $469,000 total cash on‑target earnings, varying by location and role level.
