About the Role
The driver safely operates a heavy‑duty truck on assigned transfer routes. Responsibilities include operating the vehicle in compliance with OSHA, DOT and all local, state and federal regulations; completing pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using DVIR forms; reporting unsafe conditions, incidents or service calls to the Operations Manager or Dispatch; and participating in required training, briefings and meetings. Drivers also communicate customer requests, dump containers cleanly, position them properly, submit tickets for excess yardage, follow route assignments, and complete all required documentation at the end of each shift. • Operate heavy‑duty truck safely per OSHA, DOT, and company standards. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip DVIR inspections and report issues promptly. • Communicate customer requests, incidents, and route problems to Dispatch or Operations Manager. • Dump, clean, and correctly position containers, ensuring no debris or blocked driveways. • Complete all required documentation and customer tickets at the end of each shift. • Participate in annual education assistance and other growth opportunities. • Maintain a REAL ID or TSA‑approved alternative for travel to federal sites.

What You Bring
No formal education or prior experience is required, but a commercial driver’s license (CDL‑B) and a minimum age of 18 years are mandatory. Candidates must pass a pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical examination, background check, and have an acceptable driving record. Successful applicants will be able to operate the vehicle safely and reliably. • Hold a valid CDL‑B and be at least 18 years old with an acceptable driving record. • Pass DOT drug screen, physical exam, background check, and motor‑vehicle‑record review.
