About the Role
The firm is hiring a Director of Scheduling to lead scheduling services for key data‑center client accounts. The role supports a major construction program in Rayville, Louisiana and requires daily onsite presence, with occasional regional travel. Local candidates or those willing to relocate are preferred, and a per‑diem may be offered for non‑local hires. The director will oversee both project‑level and program‑level scheduling while mentoring a team of schedulers. The Director will create and manage detailed, resource‑loaded schedules for multiple large‑scale data‑center projects and establish standardized best‑practice processes and tools. Responsibilities include developing the Integrated Master Schedule, aligning it across design, engineering, procurement and construction, and driving continuous improvement in planning methodologies. The role also involves risk monitoring, stakeholder communication, and leading a high‑performing scheduling team. • Lead creation, management, and oversight of detailed, resource‑loaded schedules for multiple data‑center projects. • Establish and implement standardized scheduling best practices, processes, and tools across the program. • Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) ensuring alignment across design, engineering, procurement, and construction. • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in project planning and scheduling methodologies. • Serve as primary point of contact for all scheduling matters with internal leadership, client partners, and general contractors. • Support business development and growth of scheduling/project controls services for new and existing client accounts. • Establish baseline schedules, evaluate performance, and develop KPIs for multi‑project programs. • Conduct high‑level schedule reviews, scenario modeling, and trend analysis to inform program‑level decisions. • Integrate schedule data with cost, risk, and reporting systems (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, client dashboards). • Collaborate with Project Controls, Finance, and Project Management to ensure schedule accuracy and budget alignment. • Monitor schedule risks and opportunities, supporting mitigation planning with senior stakeholders. • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of schedulers across multiple project sites, providing performance feedback and fostering a results‑driven culture. • Facilitate regular coordination meetings with project managers, design teams, GCs, subcontractors, and client leadership. • Communicate schedule updates, risks, and recommendations through dashboards, executive presentations, and written reports. • Oversee preparation of monthly program reporting, including 1‑, 3‑, and 6‑month lookahead schedules.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or a related field and at least 12 years of scheduling experience on large construction programs, including two years of team leadership. Expertise in Primavera P6, strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills are required, as is proficiency with Excel and data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Preferred qualifications include a graduate degree, professional certifications (PMP, PSP, CCM, EIT), and prior data‑center or mission‑critical construction experience.
