About the Role
The Lemartec Site Safety Manager promotes and ensures site safety for assigned projects, overseeing day‑to‑day field operations, planning, coordinating, and enforcing safety regulations and codes. This role serves as the primary point of contact for owners, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and Lemartec teams on all safety‑related matters, providing training, conducting safety meetings, audits, and inspections, and implementing corrective actions and follow‑up assessments. • Develop and conduct safety processes, training, and orientation for new employees. • Create, deliver, and maintain OSHA‑compliant written management processes and recordkeeping. • Perform daily site safety inspections and inspect safety equipment, removing defective items and managing fall protection inspections. • Establish schedule for preparation, submittal, review, and acceptance of Job Hazard Analyses. • Maintain a comprehensive Job Hazard Analysis program with tracking logs. • Manage accident reporting, investigation, and recordkeeping. • Ensure subcontractor compliance with safety and health requirements. • Compile, analyze, and interpret statistical data on near‑misses, incidents, injuries, and illnesses. • Participate in root cause analysis for injury/incident investigations and obtain accident reports. • Record and manage all site safety documentation; provide detailed weekly written reports. • Implement company environmental policies in accordance with state/EPA laws. • Recommend purchase of safety equipment. • Participate in pre‑construction and pre‑work safety meetings. • Facilitate mass safety meetings and weekly tailgate safety meetings. • Prepare agendas, compile materials, and record minutes for safety meetings. • Coordinate substance‑abuse testing and set up medical clinics for new job sites. • Facilitate Lemartec’s return‑to‑work program with employees, medical professionals, and project personnel.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health or related field preferred. • Minimum five years of relevant construction safety experience. • OSHA 30‑hour certification (minimum). • CHST certification preferred or achievable within six months of hire. • Data‑center project experience preferred. • Extensive knowledge of OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, and applicable codes. • Proven ability to manage safety in fast‑paced, dynamic environments. • Experience interacting with regulatory agencies, safety professionals, and legal representatives. • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills; ability to work cross‑functionally. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document control programs such as Procore.

This is a traveling position that may require up to 100% travel across the United States, with assignments typically lasting six to eight months per project in states such as NC, VA, GA, TX, FL, IA, and WY.
