Job Highlights
About the Role
• Read blueprints and specifications to determine material locations, quantities, and sizes. • Identify necessary tools and safety precautions for each task. • Measure, mark, and cut wood or metal to required specifications. • Construct, reinforce, and dismantle pre‑constructed scaffolds. • Build wooden scaffolds, auxiliary items, and other structures such as decks, steps, and bulletin boards. • Perform cleanup and housekeeping of work areas. • Work at heights, climb ladders, stairs, or platforms with fall protection. • Operate in all weather conditions while wearing PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, respirator, hi‑vis vest, gloves, steel‑toed boots).

What You Bring
Candidates must be proficient in reading blueprints, sketches, and building plans, possess the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, and be willing to assist other trades when not engaged in scaffolding work. Reliable transportation, personal tools, and the ability to meet physical demands are also mandatory. The role involves extensive standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lb, and work at heights with appropriate fall‑protection equipment. Workers must wear prescribed personal protective equipment and be able to perform in all weather conditions. • Minimum 4 years experience as a scaffold builder on industrial projects. • Proficient in reading blueprints, plans, and drawings. • Knowledge of materials, tools, and basic building techniques. • Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations. • Reliable transportation and required personal tools. • Availability for full schedule and overtime as needed. • Current or former Zachry employee (ROF’ed or Industrial, Inc.). • NCCER Industrial Journeyman Carpenter certification. • Experience with scaffolding, insulation, and painting. • Stand, walk, bend, squat, sit, and lift repeatedly; lift up to 50 lb. • Communicate verbally and audibly; use hands to handle tools and materials.
