About the Role
The advertised position is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating designated construction projects to ensure goals are achieved within prescribed time frames and budgets. This includes establishing work plans, scheduling, staffing, reviewing proposals and specifications, negotiating with owners and subcontractors, managing billings, preparing reports, and supervising project assistants while fostering relationships with owners and partners. • Review project proposals, plans, and specifications to determine timeline, budget, staffing, and resource allocation. • Establish work plans, schedules, and staffing for each project phase. • Read and interpret drawings and specifications. • Build and maintain a network of business associates, subcontractors, and vendors. • Outline work plans and assign duties with project staff. • Coordinate activities to keep projects on budget and provide technical advice. • Negotiate with owners and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution. • Manage project billings and collaborate with Finance. • Prepare and review project reports, adjusting schedules as needed. • Coordinate with governmental regulatory agencies. • Supervise Project Assistants, including planning, assigning work, and performance appraisal. • Assist in proposal writing and resource allocation. • Mentor and develop internal talent. • Maintain relationships with owners and project partners. • Support strategic planning and business development. • Assist Safety Department in enforcing safety policies. • Occasionally attend off‑site meetings.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent and possess at least seven years of related experience, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and project‑management software. Strong verbal and written communication, the ability to work under pressure, a high work ethic, and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential, while knowledge of ViewPoint software is considered a plus. The role requires the ability to communicate clearly, stand or sit for extended periods, use computers in an office setting, travel 25‑75% of the time, and lift up to 25 lb unassisted.
