About the Role

The ACaMS Program Team is tasked with designing, developing, and delivering the next‑generation aero engine control system. ACaMS will provide world‑class efficiency, advanced diagnostics, and cyber‑threat protection through a modern architecture, serving a broad range of Rolls‑Royce gas turbine engines. In this role you will develop safety‑critical gas‑turbine engine control software to meet DO‑178C objectives, support software architecture for integration and testing, and improve processes to achieve compliance and development speed. You will also establish CI/CD pipelines and act as the liaison with certification authorities to demonstrate compliance and resolve audit findings. • Develop safety‑critical gas turbine engine control software to achieve DO‑178C compliance. • Provide software architecture support for integration and testing across product lines. • Create and refine processes to meet compliance objectives and accelerate development. • Establish and maintain CI/CD frameworks for the software development team. • Liaise with certification authorities to demonstrate compliance and resolve audit findings.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Engineering or a STEM field, have at least one year of software development or testing experience, and be a U.S. citizen. Preferred qualifications include two or more years in embedded safety‑critical software, a degree in Computer, Electrical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering, and experience with model‑based design, code generation, DO‑178 processes, and verification frameworks. • Hold a Bachelor’s or higher in Engineering or STEM with 1+ year software development/testing experience; must be a U.S. citizen. • Prefer 2+ years of embedded safety‑critical software engineering experience. • Degree in Computer, Electrical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering is preferred. • Experience with model‑based design, code generation, DO‑178 processes, and verification/testing frameworks. • Knowledge of control systems and digital logic design is advantageous.
