About the Role
The role involves leading the design and analysis of complex electrical systems for renewable generation, energy storage, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, building electrical, and battery storage projects. It also includes reviewing and developing design documents, such as electrical layouts, equipment schematics, system calculations, and one-line diagrams, while collaborating daily with multi‑disciplinary teams across Kimley‑Horn offices. The engineer will prepare project specifications, construction cost estimates, and proposals to support growth of electrical engineering services locally and nationally. • Providing vision, business planning and strategy • Establishing goals • Building and maintaining positive client relationships • Growing and leading a Renewable Energy practice

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least ten years of relevant electrical project experience, a professional engineer (P.E.) license, and a firm understanding of the NEC, NESC, IEEE, and ANSI standards.
