About the Role
The Project Director will manage all stages of hyperscale data centre construction, from pre‑construction through construction to close‑out/fit‑up. Responsibilities include establishing schedules and budgets, overseeing contractors and vendors, coordinating value engineering, and ensuring proper documentation and handover. • Create and establish Master Project Schedule and Budget with client and general contractor. • Support contractor pre‑qualification, bid solicitation, analysis and recommendations. • Assist contract negotiations. • Identify, scope, procure and schedule Owner‑direct vendors and consultants. • Manage General Contractor and directly contracted vendors on site. • Coordinate Value Engineering during construction. • Develop and track budget management with commercial and PCG team. • Monitor, track and analyze schedule with client's schedule team. • Initiate close‑out process two‑to‑three months before completion. • Define close‑out documentation requirements, collect warranties, as‑builts, O&M manuals, etc. • Support city or authority final inspections and occupancy. • Schedule, coordinate and manage Owner‑direct vendors and consultants during close‑out.

What You Bring
We are looking for an experienced Project Director to join our rapidly growing team and lead the delivery of one of our biggest data centre construction projects in the Nordics. The successful candidate will be based either 100 % in‑country or will travel internationally on an 11/3 rotation. This role plays a key part in delivering tech sector mega‑projects. Candidates must share Arcadis’ passion for improving quality of life and possess deep knowledge of large‑scale technical projects and construction techniques. Experience with data centre new builds, especially hyperscale projects, ability to manage technical disciplines, coordinate owner’s representatives, and willingness to travel internationally are required. • In‑depth understanding of large‑scale technical projects and construction techniques. • Proven experience on data centre new builds and refurbishment, preferably hyperscale. • Ability to manage technical disciplines and coordinate Owner’s Representatives. • Willingness to commit to significant international travel.
