About the Role

Arcus provides full training to ensure you can perform cleaning duties to the highest standards and apply all health and safety procedures. Cleaners take pride in maintaining the store’s appearance, both inside and outside, and work as part of a supportive team focused on customer service. • Perform daily cleaning tasks (mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, wiping) across store areas, including floors, toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, oven canopies, and trolley bays. • Operate cleaning machinery safely and follow all health and safety procedures. • Provide a smartphone with NFC capability for the Arcus Connect attendance app.

We are hiring a part‑time In‑Store Cleaner for the Stevenage store on a permanent contract until March 2026, working 25 hours each week at an hourly rate of £12.21, with an immediate start available. Sainsbury’s stores operate seven days a week, and Arcus offers flexible shift patterns across five‑ and six‑day weeks. The current schedule for this role includes early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, with specific hours on Sunday (14:00‑19:00) and Monday‑Thursday and Saturday (17:00‑21:00), while Friday is a day off.
