About the Role

The Industrial Consulting Analyst provides analytical support, research, data modeling, report writing, and visualization tool development while collaborating with senior consultants. They assemble and analyze data using quantitative methods to identify problems, develop recommendations, and communicate results via reports and visual tools to meet client and team goals. The analyst also assists in creating data manipulation and visualization tools that improve consulting processes. Working with senior team members, the analyst interprets, evaluates, and organizes real‑estate, financial, supply‑chain, demographic, and other quantitative and qualitative data into compelling narratives for client presentations. They leverage Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI, and other visualization platforms to illustrate recommended strategies. The role supports ad‑hoc operational projects that enhance the industrial platform and builds data modeling and visualization tools for better data interpretation. The analyst attends client presentations to support senior staff, cultivates effective client relationships, and assists in researching and developing white papers and industry reports. They must be able to work both independently and within large teams, whether in‑office or remotely. • Analyze and model real‑estate, financial, supply‑chain, and demographic data to develop actionable insights. • Create and maintain data visualization dashboards using PowerBI, Alteryx, Lightcast, or ESRI. • Design client‑ready presentation materials in PowerPoint and Excel that convey strategic recommendations. • Support senior consultants on ad‑hoc projects and client presentations. • Build and enhance data manipulation tools to streamline the consulting workflow. • Conduct research and contribute to white papers and industry reports. • Foster strong client relationships to meet internal and external needs. • Apply quantitative problem‑solving techniques to complex business challenges.

What You Bring

A bachelor’s degree in business, consulting, accounting, finance, economic development, supply‑chain, or a related field is required, with 4‑6 years of preferred experience. Candidates must demonstrate strong economic, financial, and quantitative/qualitative problem‑solving abilities, creative data‑visualization solutions using tools such as Lightcast, Alteryx, ESRI, or PowerBI, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Excellent oral and written communication, time‑management, organization, interpersonal, leadership, and relationship‑building skills are essential. • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and advanced analytics platforms.
