About the Role
The VDC Coordinator role is based in Indianapolis and is not remote. The Engineering VDC Coordinator supports engineering and construction by creating and maintaining accurate 3D Revit models of electrical systems, ensuring alignment with project scope and constructability. The position requires coordination of models with internal teams, execution of quality assurance checks, collaboration with engineers to translate designs, and resolution of clash issues. The coordinator must keep modeling schedules on track and provide mentorship to BIM modelers. • Develop and manage electrical Revit models according to standards • Coordinate models with internal teams using Autodesk tools • Perform QA/QC checks for constructability and scope alignment • Collaborate with engineers to translate designs into models • Run clash reports and resolve issues with stakeholders • Maintain modeling deadlines • Mentor BIM modelers

What You Bring
Daily work relies on Microsoft Office and advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. Experience with model coordination and Autodesk Construction Cloud is preferred. The role involves stationary work with frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, and occasional lifting of up to 25 lb, requiring good vision and focus. The company maintains a drug‑free, smoke‑free workplace, follows extensive safety protocols, and conducts background, drug, and E‑verify screenings. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks • Preferred: model coordination experience and Autodesk Construction Cloud knowledge
