About the Role

You will deliver work packages using internal and external resources to meet technical requirements within time and cost constraints, providing programme and technical leadership while adhering to Engineering function policies throughout the lifecycle. You will communicate plans and budgets, and ensure programmes are managed in line with prescribed technical programme management and quality processes. You will act as Section Lead, coordinating tasks and projects to ensure timely delivery and quality. You will collaborate across the enterprise and with customers to resolve technical issues, attend integration meetings, produce technical reports and letters, and manage a team of engineers to meet governance and technical standards. • Deliver work packages using internal and external resources within time and cost limits. • Provide programme and technical leadership across the lifecycle of projects. • Communicate plans and budgets to stakeholders. • Manage programmes following technical programme management and quality standards. • Act as Section Lead, coordinating tasks and ensuring timely, quality delivery. • Collaborate with enterprise partners and customers to resolve technical issues. • Attend enterprise‑wide integration meetings. • Produce technical reports and correspondence as required. • Lead and govern a team of engineers to meet technical standards.

What You Bring

A degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent continuous professional development and experience is required. Experience with submarine NSRP design work is ideal, and knowledge of Submarine NSRP or secondary systems is desirable. Willingness to integrate and collaborate across the business and wider enterprise is essential. Applicants must hold a Security Check clearance; Rolls‑Royce will support the application if needed. Candidates must be UK nationals or, in MoD‑approved cases, dual nationals, and priority will be given to high‑risk employees. The professional level and salary will depend on skills and experience, with grade 8‑10 in Engineering for Services. The posting runs from 3 Feb 2026 to 17 Feb 2026. • Hold a degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience. • Possess experience in submarine NSRP design work (preferred). • Demonstrate knowledge of Submarine NSRP or secondary systems (desirable). • Obtain a Security Check clearance (supported by Rolls‑Royce). • Be a UK national or MoD‑approved dual national.
