About the Role
The Maintenance 2 position is responsible for maintaining property, plant, and equipment in a productive, efficient, and safe manner. The role involves inspecting, servicing, repairing, and constructing processing equipment throughout the plant and participating in the company’s safety program. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities. • Inspect, service, repair, and construct plant processing equipment including structures, utilities, loaders, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, mechanical, and pressure vessels. • Use welding and fabrication tools to alter, repair, and fabricate processing equipment. • Manage inventory of serviceable parts required for equipment maintenance. • Perform the company’s Preventative Maintenance Program. • Document and report maintenance work performed and advise of future requirements promptly. • Participate in and contribute to the company safety program. • Fabrication and welding of various metals, including pipe welding.

What You Bring
Applicants must hold a one‑year certificate from a college or technical school and have at least two years of related work experience. No specific license or certification is required. Candidates should possess experience with hydraulics, electrical systems, pumps, valves, welding, and basic mechanical knowledge in the wood industry, as well as strong troubleshooting and communication skills. • Experience with hydraulics, electrical systems, pumps, valves, and welding. • Excellent troubleshooting skills. • Basic mechanical knowledge in the wood industry (preferred). • Ability to solve problems with multiple variables in standardized situations. • Ability to read schematics and electrical drawings. • Strong communication skills.
