About the Role
The Lead Superintendent will oversee all on‑site construction activities for multifamily residential and mixed‑use development projects, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality standards are met. This role manages large‑scale projects ranging from $50 million to $100 million and works closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and external partners. Key duties include partnering with the Project Manager during preconstruction, leading daily site operations, developing logistics and safety plans, managing RFIs and subcontractor scopes, and coordinating inspections, utility connections, and punch‑list resolution. The Superintendent also drives team performance, builds relationships with architects, engineers, municipalities, and community stakeholders, and cultivates a positive, solutions‑focused jobsite culture. • Oversee on‑site construction for multifamily and mixed‑use projects. • Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, on budget, and to quality standards. • Partner with Project Manager during preconstruction for jobsite setup and scheduling. • Lead daily site activities and enforce safety and quality expectations. • Identify and resolve delays, quality issues, and safety hazards. • Develop site logistics, safety plans, and labor staffing projections. • Schedule and conduct daily/weekly project meetings and maintain milestones. • Manage RFIs, subcontractor scopes, and follow‑up on scheduling matters. • Coordinate inspections, utility connections, punch walks, and final unit acceptance. • Track shop drawings, submittals, and maintain inspection logs. • Prepare and submit daily and weekly superintendent reports. • Lead, motivate, and develop on‑site teams to meet key milestones. • Build strong relationships with architects, engineers, municipalities, and community stakeholders. • Foster a positive, solutions‑focused jobsite culture. • Provide feedback and development opportunities to team members. • Maintain compliance with construction plans, documentation, and building codes.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and at least ten years of direct supervisory experience on multifamily construction projects. Strong knowledge of all construction disciplines, excellent planning and scheduling abilities, proficient Microsoft Office skills, and the capacity to read blueprints and interpret building codes are required. • Possess at least ten years of supervisory experience on multifamily construction projects. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; vocational construction coursework preferred. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of reading blueprints and structural plans. • Hold a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
