About the Role

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of secured life‑science projects, ensuring timely and accurate outputs. • Oversee budgets, risks, scope, change control and governance in line with Mace values. • Coordinate design, consultant and stakeholder teams to meet programme milestones. • Provide technical leadership, reporting and communication to drive effective collaboration. • Ensure compliance with quality, safety and governance standards throughout the project. • Lead contractor through RIBA Stage 5 design to achieve coordinated design within schedule and budget. • Maintain strong commercial, financial and stakeholder management throughout the project. • Prioritise safety, ensuring everyone goes home safe and well. • Focus on client outcomes, delivering quality and building long‑term relationships. • Create opportunities for people to excel through continuous improvement.

What You Bring

The role is based on the client’s site in Weybridge, Surrey, requiring a minimum of three days per week on‑site, with additional work from Mace’s Moorgate London offices. Candidates must obtain both BPSS and SC clearances. • Hold professional membership (RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE) or equivalent with life‑science/cleanroom experience. • Demonstrated ability to manage design, delivery, licensing and validation processes. • Extensive public‑sector project and programme delivery experience. • Proven commercial, financial and stakeholder management capabilities. • Experience managing contractors through RIBA 5 design stages.
