About the Role
• Lead design and analysis of embankment and concrete dams, spillways, outlet works, and hydraulic structures. • Prepare engineering reports, specifications, and design drawings to quality standards. • Review inspection reports and monitoring data, recommending mitigation for existing dams. • Conduct field investigations and inspections, including travel as needed. • Provide senior technical oversight, mentor junior engineers, and review deliverables. • Support business development through proposals, cost estimating, and client engagement. • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and maintain strong client relationships. • Manage dam projects through planning, execution, financial tracking, and coordination.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in civil or geotechnical engineering (or equivalent). • Chartered Engineer status or working toward chartership. • Experience in dam design, refurbishment, and project delivery. • Proven ability to manage complex dam‑related civil engineering projects from concept to completion. • Skilled in producing high‑quality technical deliverables and applying innovative solutions. • Understanding of hydraulic phenomena and ability to integrate numerical/physical modelling. • CFD modelling experience for spillways using tools such as Flow3D and familiarity with Rhino/Grasshopper.
