About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager to join our busy and expanding Manchester office, supporting clients in delivering projects and programmes within the Healthcare sector of our Real Estate division. The role leads Project Management commissions, taking responsibility for end‑to‑end service delivery on large or complex projects. It also serves as the key day‑to‑day client interface, ensuring client objectives are met and projects are delivered on time, within cost targets and to appropriate quality standards. Senior Project Managers handle commissions of varying scale and value, typically up to £40 million, depending on project complexity. For advisory services such as urban regeneration funding, the overall project size may be considerably larger. Key responsibilities include providing strategic advice at project conception, defining success criteria (time, cost, technical and performance), establishing governance and quality, safety, health and environmental processes, creating detailed project plans, advising on resource procurement, leading cross‑functional teams, applying performance‑management techniques and KPIs, managing change control, monitoring finances, and ensuring clear communication and reporting to the client and consultants. • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of large and complex healthcare projects up to £40 million, acting as primary client liaison. • Provide strategic advice at project conception and define success criteria (time, cost, technical, performance). • Establish and maintain project governance, quality, safety, health, and environmental processes. • Create detailed project plans, advise on resource procurement, and lead cross‑functional teams. • Apply performance‑management techniques and KPIs to improve project outcomes. • Manage change control, monitor finances, and ensure accurate reporting and communication.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a relevant degree and a professional qualification such as MCIOB, APM or equivalent. Proven experience managing healthcare projects, preferably in a consultancy environment, is required, though strong contracting backgrounds will also be considered. • Hold a relevant degree and professional qualification (MCIOB, APM or equivalent). • Demonstrated experience delivering healthcare projects, preferably in a consultancy setting.
