About the Role
The Leasing Consultant role focuses on leasing, marketing, and resident relations for a property. Core duties include showing units, qualifying prospects, completing lease paperwork, and maintaining accurate prospect data, while also handling resident concerns and supporting retention initiatives. • Show, lease, and move in prospective residents by greeting, qualifying, touring, and signing leases • Generate leads, schedule appointments, conduct tours, maintain model units, and follow up with prospects • Complete all leasing paperwork before move‑in and assist with lease audits and unit turnover processes • Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data; respond to leads within 24 hours • Apply sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic, improve closing ratios, and meet/exceed leasing goals • Perform various administrative tasks as needed • Address resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure satisfaction • Develop and implement resident retention programs such as events, special promotions, and newsletters • Contribute to upkeep and cleaning of office, common areas, and model unit • Assist in implementing the annual marketing plan and conduct ongoing market surveys/analysis • Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property, competition, and market conditions; produce weekly market survey reports • Provide excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround times • Project a favorable community image and enforce community policies as delegated • Lift, carry, or move objects up to 25 lb in any direction • Operate machinery, power tools, vehicles or golf carts

What You Bring
Candidates need at least a high‑school diploma, basic computer skills, and familiarity with Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. The position requires regular on‑site attendance, the ability to lift and move items up to 25 lb, ascend ladders, and work evenings or weekends as needed. • High School Diploma or equivalent required • Basic computer proficiency and ability to operate on‑site software • Understanding of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements • Ability to move, climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and step stools; stand or sit for prolonged periods • Work overtime, weekends, night hours; tolerate extreme temperatures and outdoor weather conditions • Work in tight or confined spaces; possible exposure to hazardous chemicals
