About the Role
• Install, overhaul, service, and repair air conditioning, heating, and related equipment • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system problems; replace worn or broken parts • Install motors, thermostats, humidistats, and adjust valves, piping, fittings, and couplings • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to established processes • Respond to routine and on‑demand service requests; monitor equipment and conduct facility walkthroughs • Assist with implementation of preventative maintenance program and maintain accurate tool inventory • Provide observations and recommendations on facility mechanical conditions • Participate in facility‑related projects and ensure compliance with corporate and legislative policies • Submit expenditures promptly and perform other assigned duties

What You Bring
The HVAC Red Seal journeyperson holds a valid provincial Certificate of Qualification and is responsible for operating facility systems, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring compliance with environmental, health, safety, security, and fire protection requirements. Candidates must have a college diploma or certification, experience as a licensed HVAC/Refrigeration Technician, strong safety and client‑service orientation, on‑call availability, a valid driver’s license, and must meet enhanced security clearance requirements. • Tools provided (excluding basic hand tools) • Hold a college diploma or certification and licensed HVAC/Refrigeration Technician experience • Demonstrate a strong safety mindset, client‑service orientation, and effective communication • Maintain valid HVAC Certificate of Qualification; gasfitter I & II and refrigeration licenses are assets • Valid driver’s license and meet enhanced security clearance requirements
