About the Role

The Project Engineer will apply engineering expertise to design grading and drainage solutions, collaborate with staff engineers using AutoCAD, and manage project budgets, schedules, and agency requirements in a fast‑paced environment. • Review municipal zoning, land development ordinances, and agency regulations. • Conduct site investigations, due diligence, and utility research. • Prepare concept drawings and coordinate with AutoCAD draftsmen. • Lead design of stormwater management and conveyance systems using Civil 3D and hydrology software. • Perform pipe sizing calculations and runoff analyses (Rational Method, Manning’s Equation). • Develop grading designs ensuring value engineering and safe slopes. • Design subdivision plans, site layouts, and utility systems. • Create soil erosion and sediment control plans, including BMPs and stability calculations. • Produce construction cost estimates for bonding and client purposes. • Lead and mentor a team of engineers.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. • 5–7+ years experience in land development or civil/site engineering. • EIT required; PE preferred. • Knowledge of local land use, planning, and zoning regulations. • Proficiency in stormwater, hydraulics, grading, and Civil 3D design. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Self‑starter capable of independent and collaborative work. • Ability to read, write, and understand English for job communications.
