Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance in occupied social housing, diagnosing issues and ensuring compliance.

About the Role
• Perform responsive plumbing repairs in occupied properties, including fixing leaks, blockages and drainage issues. • Replace and install sanitary ware (taps, toilets, cisterns, basins) and repair or replace pipework, valves and fittings. • Work on unvented cylinders, hot‑water systems and radiators, diagnosing and resolving faults. • Remove, repair or replace bath panels for routine maintenance or leak detection, ensuring a professional finish. • Record job details, materials used and completion notes using handheld devices or job sheets. • Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicle in good working order. • Work respectfully in residents’ homes, keeping the environment clean and safe. • Identify and report additional works, safeguarding concerns or property issues. • Participate in the out‑of‑hours emergency rota when required. • Adhere to current plumbing regulations, health and safety policies and procedures.

What You Bring
We are seeking an experienced and dependable plumber to join our expanding team on a busy responsive‑repairs contract for occupied social housing. This hands‑on role involves a wide range of plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks to keep homes safe, functional and comfortable, while working directly with residents and delivering professional customer service. • Meet role criteria: proven domestic plumbing experience, full UK driving licence, ability to work independently, strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills, excellent customer service in occupied homes, understanding of health and safety, competency with handheld job management systems, willingness to join out‑of‑hours rota.
