About the Role

The Assistant Property Manager (Multifamily) at Allanza at the Lakes will help keep the community market‑ready and deliver high‑level service. The role supports the Property Manager in daily operations and team leadership to maximize property performance. Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance, capital projects, lease administration, budgeting, collections, evictions, marketing, lease renewals, and service contracts, while ensuring compliance with Cushman & Wakefield policies. The assistant also handles resident communications, conflict resolution, and maintains accurate resident files and community finances. • Assist the Property Manager with operations such as maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, reporting, collections, evictions, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. • Deliver superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to boost satisfaction, renewals, and revenue. • Complete lease and renewal paperwork in accordance with company standards. • Track advertising performance and monitor prospective client traffic. • Hire, interview, and coach on‑site staff while enforcing Cushman & Wakefield policies and procedures. • Maintain resident files and ensure a positive living environment through prompt conflict resolution. • Manage the community’s overall budget and financial performance. • Collaborate with leasing staff to achieve leasing and marketing targets. • Perform general office, bookkeeping, and sales duties as needed. • Identify leasing opportunities, set goals, and improve staff performance. • Supervise day‑to‑day team operations ensuring compliance with company policies.

Education requirements are a high school diploma (or GED) with a bachelor’s degree preferred, and the ideal applicant has at least three years of property‑management experience and one year of supervisory experience. The position operates in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment and requiring regular travel between properties in various weather conditions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and the ability to lift or move up to 25 lb, with travel comprising up to 15 % of work time. • Demonstrate effective oral and written communication, customer‑service, and computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, internet). • Ability to manage a team and perform other related duties as assigned. • Education: High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. • Experience: Minimum 3 years property management and 1 year management experience. • Work environment includes regular use of computers, phones, photocopiers, and travel between properties. • Physical requirements: stand and walk for extended periods, climb stairs/ladders, lift up to 25 lb, and travel up to 15 % of time.
