About the Role

Mortenson is seeking a Solar Laborer I who will be responsible for the preparation, handling, and supplying of materials to be used by other crafts on solar projects. The role includes general labor tasks such as loading and unloading equipment, material preparation, solar panel installation, rigging, racking and torque‑tube assembly, pile layout, wire management, and general site cleanup, along with any other duties assigned. • Load and unload equipment and materials. • Prepare, handle, and supply materials for other crafts. • Install solar panels and perform rigging. • Assemble racking, torque tubes, and piles. • Manage wire routing and conduct general cleanup. • Operate tools and equipment like drills, jackhammers, forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies. • Perform repetitive hand, arm, and leg movements; lift/carry up to 50 lb (assistance required for heavier loads).

What You Bring

Preferred candidates have construction experience and can operate power and hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, jackhammers, forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies. Strong teamwork, effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive motions and lift up to 50 lb (with assistance for heavier loads) are required. • Demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
