About the Role
You will join the frontline operations team managing water resource and production supply sites, ensuring that water supply works and pumping stations operate smoothly. The role is critical for maintaining regulatory compliance, protecting the environment, and delivering excellent service to customers. Key duties include compliance testing and monitoring, maintenance tasks such as unblocking pumps, screens and valves, repairing alarm systems and resolving faults, and monitoring, collating and reporting data for regulatory compliance. You will also carry out regular water sampling, maintain sampling equipment, safely receive and handle chemical deliveries, and use IT systems to log maintenance tasks and ensure safety compliance while participating in a standby rota. • Perform compliance testing and monitoring • Conduct maintenance tasks such as unblocking pumps, screens, and valves • Repair alarm systems and resolve faults • Monitor, collate, and report data for regulatory compliance • Carry out regular water sampling and maintain sampling equipment • Receive and handle chemical deliveries safely • Log maintenance tasks and ensure safety compliance using IT systems • Work outdoors in all weather conditions • Participate in standby rota as required

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a valid UK manual driving licence, is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, and is adaptable, reliable, self‑motivated and able to manage time independently. You should be eager to learn and operate complex processes. Benefits
The closing date for applications is 18/02/2026 for the Water Supply Process Operator role based in Broadfields. Candidates must be willing to travel across multiple sites and hold a full, current UK manual driving licence. This is a permanent, full‑time position (38 hours per week) with an initial salary of £26,721 per annum, plus standby and overtime opportunities. After completing the license‑to‑operate training (approximately 6‑8 months), the salary increases to £30,000, with the potential to earn an additional £5,000‑£8,000 through standby payments.
