About the Role

The Project Manager will oversee fire‑protection installation projects in commercial, educational, healthcare, and industrial facilities, managing every phase from design and permitting to material delivery, labor scheduling, and field installation. The role ensures compliance with codes, standards, and AHJ requirements while representing the company positively with clients, architects, and engineers. Success requires applying core project‑management methodologies—integration, scope, time, cost, quality, communications, risk, and procurement—while maintaining clear communication and status reporting. The manager tracks financial performance, conducts quality inspections, and provides responsive, professional customer support throughout the project lifecycle. • Manage fire‑protection installation projects for commercial, educational, healthcare, and industrial facilities • Oversee project lifecycle from design and permits to material delivery, labor scheduling, and field installation • Develop comprehensive project plans to meet schedule and budget targets • Conduct work‑in‑progress meetings and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and AHJ requirements • Coordinate change orders and drive margin improvement on each job • Track project expenditures, forecast financial trends, and maintain full financial accountability • Perform site inspections to ensure workmanship meets quality standards • Provide responsive, professional support to customers and resolve issues promptly • Apply project‑management methodology across integration, scope, time, cost, quality, communications, risk, and procurement • Maintain clear communication and status reporting to project staff, customers, and management • Manage project resources, assign duties, and provide technical advice and problem resolution • Ensure full accountability for project quality through inspections and adherence to standards • Deliver excellent customer service with timely follow‑up on concerns and issues

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least five years of construction or project‑management experience, strong multitasking and communication skills, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including macro development. They should be highly organized, detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and capable of handling difficult interactions. Preferred qualifications include fire‑protection experience, the ability to read complex building documents, knowledge of NFPA/IEC standards, NICET Level II certification, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and willingness to travel. • Minimum five years of construction or project‑management experience • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and deadline‑orientation • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheet tracking and macro creation • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and self‑motivated • Ability to handle difficult interactions with employees and customers • Preferred: five years fire‑protection, alarm/detection, or related project‑management experience • Preferred: ability to read complex architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings • Preferred: knowledge of NFPA, IEC standards, Underwriter’s requirements, and building codes • Preferred: NICET Level II or higher certification • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or related field • Preferred: willingness to travel at least 10% of the time
