About the Role
The role offers an experienced candidate the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, serving as the daily point of contact with clients and contractors. The inspector manages construction observations, material testing, and documentation to ensure compliance with plans and specifications. • Measure distances to verify structural and MEP installations. • Verify levels, alignment, and elevation of installations. • Prepare material samples for laboratory testing. • Examine workmanship for compliance with standards and approve installations. • Interpret plans/specifications and discuss deviations with contractors. • Record material quantities, develop pay estimates and change orders. • Maintain daily log of construction and inspection activities and compare progress reports. • Monitor various work activities and enforce construction safety practices. • Manage project documents using e-Builder or Procore.
