About the Role
The role includes contributing to pre‑construction planning, modification, permitting, and analysis across multiple projects of varying size and scope. The successful candidate will solve complex problems, support project managers, and work across disciplines to bring clients’ visions for the built environment to life. • Contribute to pre‑construction planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects ranging in size and scope. • Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce clients’ visions for the future built environment. • Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley‑Horn’s and client practices, procedures, and standards. • Evaluate development proposals to identify compliance with zoning regulations. • Prepare planning and land use studies. • Coordinate with various municipal and state agencies.

What You Bring
Candidates must be working toward a Planning degree—bachelor’s or master’s—from an accredited program in City and Regional Planning, Urban Planning, Transportation Planning, or a related field.
