Job Highlights
About the Role
The incumbent will lead research and development of advanced power‑electronics solutions for next‑generation data‑centers, driving technology roadmaps and prototype creation. Responsibilities include designing high‑efficiency AC‑DC and DC‑DC converters, HVDC distribution architectures, and redundant power systems. The role also requires end‑to‑end hardware and interface design for high‑power‑density products. Innovation is a core focus, with the engineer expected to research emerging technologies, integrate them into digital‑twin environments, and shape future roadmaps. All projects must comply with IEC, UL, and IEEE standards while delivering reliability, scalability, and energy‑efficiency. The individual will also lead high‑speed communication circuits, digital and analog controls, and I/O interface hardware. • Lead R&D of high‑efficiency AC/DC, DC/DC converters and HVDC distribution for data‑center power systems. • Research emerging power‑electronics technologies and integrate them into digital‑twin environments. • Ensure projects meet IEC, UL, IEEE standards and achieve reliability, scalability, and energy‑efficiency goals. • Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance on high‑power density designs and simulations. • Develop specifications, functional safety, and cost‑effective designs for LV inverter and DC‑DC converter topologies. • Design high‑speed communication, analog/digital control, and I/O interface circuits for power products. • Conduct hardware‑in‑the‑loop simulation and validate designs using DFSS tools such as FMEA and Monte Carlo analysis. • Manage product development from concept through qualification, certification, and launch. • Apply digital communication protocols (CAN, LIN, RS232, SPI, I2C) in microcontroller‑based designs. • Utilize MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice, LTspice, PSIM, and SABER for modeling and analysis. • Drive customer‑focused solutions and provide technical leadership to cross‑functional teams.
