About the Role

• Manage overall financial health, including subcontracts, suppliers, budgets, and invoice approvals • Develop and maintain project financial and equipment projections; allocate estimates in the financial system • Create monthly owner billings and oversee budgets for trade partners and suppliers • Handle contract management, buyouts, and change orders with necessary approvals • Lead, mentor, and assign tasks to Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers; approve timecards and provide performance feedback • Serve as primary contact for owners and on‑site representatives; review agreements and resolve site concerns • Build positive relationships through frequent interaction and service • Maintain project schedule, budget, quality, risk, safety, and compliance through completion • Coach diverse teams, manage performance, and promote career development

Mortenson’s BLUvera Group is looking for an experienced Project Manager to build and lead a team, serving as the primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders. The role involves managing projects from concept through closeout, with a focus on steel stud framing and advancing self‑performed manufactured construction assemblies. BLUvera utilizes advanced design, engineering, and 3D modeling to deliver prefabricated construction products using DfMA principles. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Postings typically remain open for a minimum of five days, averaging 44 days. Mortenson does not accept unsolicited agency communications without a valid agreement. • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience • Minimum six years of construction management or related experience • Proven ability to manage projects from development through closeout on complex jobs • Strong detail orientation to handle multiple tasks simultaneously • Basic understanding of construction law and business practices • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, project software, and web applications • Ability to interpret Mortenson policies and communicate effectively • Active listening, openness to diverse input, and strong communication skills • Ability to travel overnight occasionally and maintain a valid driver’s license • Knowledge of EEO, inclusive behaviors, and affirmative action plans
