About the Role

Set up, adjust, and operate manual and semi‑automatic welding equipment to produce high‑quality, structurally sound welds on oil‑tight and non‑oil‑tight parts. Perform welding in flat, horizontal, vertical, and tank‑inside positions, including mild and stainless‑steel cover welding and MIG repair operations. Operate material‑handling equipment such as bridge and jib cranes, hand trucks, and powered industrial vehicles, and place weld‑on and bolt‑on covers followed by air‑soap pressure testing. Inspect own and others’ work, conduct test procedures, and take corrective action to address non‑conformances while maintaining accurate production counts and reconciling them with work orders. Perform routine upkeep of machines and equipment to ensure optimal functionality. • Set up and operate manual and semi‑automatic welding equipment • Perform welding in multiple positions on oil‑tight and non‑oil‑tight parts • Execute MIG repair and cover welding on mild and stainless steel • Operate bridge cranes, jib cranes, hand trucks, and powered industrial vehicles • Apply weld‑on and bolt‑on covers and conduct air‑soap pressure tests • Inspect welds, conduct tests, and implement corrective actions for non‑conformances • Maintain accurate production counts and reconcile with work orders • Perform routine maintenance on welding machines and equipment

What You Bring

Ability to perform basic math, operate welding machinery and hand tools, and pass the welding certification test (training provided onsite). Must lift up to 40 lb and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and using both hands to handle materials, with accommodations as needed.
