SCHOOL CLEANER

About the Role

• Clean and maintain assigned areas such as classrooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, and stairways • Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors in designated areas • Regularly check and empty trash receptacles in all designated areas • Follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage • Notify lead cleaner or manager of needed minor or major repairs • Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, co‑workers, supervisors, and managers • Collect, consolidate, and separate recycling into proper receptacles • Clean and dust desks, chairs, tables, furniture, fixtures, doors, sills, floors, ceilings, and walls • Polish hard surfaces such as woodwork and stainless steel • Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas • Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment manually or with hand trucks • Clean interior glass partitions, windows, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and tools • Sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow, and perform other seasonal tasks • Maintain restroom cleanliness, including polishing as needed • Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards set by the company, clients, and regulators

What You Bring
