About the Role

The Community Manager reports to the Regional Manager and oversees all on‑site operations of a housing community, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, finance, administration and risk management, while ensuring compliance with Asset Living policies, safety and fair‑housing guidelines. • Manage on‑site staff: hire, train, coach, schedule, evaluate performance, and enforce company policies. • Oversee financial performance: develop budgets, control costs, maximize net operating income, and ensure timely rent collections and vendor invoice processing. • Lead leasing efforts: create annual marketing plans, drive resident acquisition, handle lease documentation, and implement resident retention programs. • Supervise maintenance and property appearance: direct service requests, conduct inspections, coordinate repairs, and manage vendor contracts efficiently. • Respond to emergencies: head the property’s emergency team and ensure proper handling of incidents to minimize liability. • Ensure compliance with fair‑housing laws, OSHA standards and Asset Living procedures. • Maintain reliable transportation for on‑call emergency responsibilities.
