About the Role
The role covers the entire project lifecycle, from concept design through to completion, and is based on site in Raynesway. You will work within a multidisciplinary team alongside the RRSL Design Authority and Project Delivery Team to deliver the structural engineering assurance scope, providing both proactive and reactive expert opinion, reviewing subcontractor deliverables, and managing workload to meet key milestones. • Provide expert structural engineering opinion proactively and reactively. • Review civil/structural deliverables from subcontractors. • Attend project, site, and design review meetings. • Manage and prioritize workload to meet key milestones. • Author or check specifications, calculations, and other engineering deliverables. • Review contractor proposals for constructability and build assurance. • Inspect site works and assure the contractor’s build assurance programme. • Lead structural engineering on site and respond to SQEP queries. • Review as‑built drawings and records for acceptance. • Execute tasks requested by key stakeholders and report any capability limitations. • Apply civil engineering first principles using provided software tools. • Conduct preliminary/scoping work while full design calculations are subcontracted.
