About the Role

The Production Tester 2 is responsible for testing gas and diesel generator sets, performing final acceptance tests, running engines, applying loads, and conducting special tests. The technician records and analyzes performance data, calculates voltage and frequency variations, and operates computerized test equipment. Communication of results, recommendations for improvement, and adherence to safety, environmental and compliance standards are also required. • Perform final acceptance test of new and overhauled generator sets • Follow testing procedures by running the engine, testing alarms, adding load, and conducting special tests • Perform required special tests on job‑specific generator sets • Communicate test results internally and provide product improvement recommendations • Calculate voltage and frequency dip/spike based on transient loading using a calculator • Calculate performance using test data, standard formulas, computer, or calculator • Operate computerized test equipment to enter, retrieve, and compute test data • Follow safety and environmental procedures • Provide input on continuous improvement opportunities within the department • Promote a compliance culture and adhere to the Rolls‑Royce Code of Conduct
