About the Role
Reporting to the SVP of Pre‑Construction, the Director of Sales will lead the U.S. mainland sales organization as a working manager. The role combines hands‑on selling—targeting 35‑45 % of the projected $50 M 2026 revenue—with building and coaching a small team of senior sales professionals. Success will depend on creating a national sales strategy, leveraging data and AI tools, and collaborating across estimating, marketing, and operations to win complex multi‑unit projects. • Develop and execute a national sales strategy for multi‑family repiping and mechanical infrastructure projects. • Personally prospect, build relationships, create proposals, negotiate and close high‑value deals contributing 35‑45 % of annual sales target. • Recruit, mentor, and coach a high‑performing sales team, providing training in consultative selling and technical product knowledge. • Expand relationships with property managers, real estate investors, HOAs, engineers, and contractors. • Manage the full sales cycle from AI‑driven prospect identification to RFP responses, customized proposals, and contract execution. • Align sales efforts with estimating, pre‑construction, marketing, and operations to improve win rates and project delivery. • Set revenue targets, forecast performance, track KPIs, and report results to executive leadership. • Maintain expertise in repiping materials, building codes, and infrastructure challenges to communicate technical solutions effectively.

What You Bring
The position requires up to 30 % national travel and offers a base salary plus bonuses within the $150‑$250 k range, along with the comprehensive benefits described above. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, and experience in plumbing systems, multi‑unit residential sales, or regional infrastructure trends is a plus. • Demonstrate 7+ years of B2B construction‑related sales experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role. • Proven record of winning complex, multi‑stakeholder residential or commercial projects as a top individual contributor. • Strong consultative selling, ROI analysis, and objection‑handling skills in group decision environments. • Proficient with CRM systems, sales analytics, and AI tools for prospecting and lead qualification. • Ability to travel up to 30 % nationally, including overnight stays.
