About the Role

The leader provides strategic direction to achieve regional goals, drives productivity, profitability, client satisfaction, and work quality, and spearheads marketing and business development initiatives, including cross‑selling services. They manage billing and collections, coordinate resource sharing and staffing, and oversee regional training, staff procurement, and development. Monitoring staff utilization and ensuring compliance with CED policies, especially health and safety, are also key responsibilities. Regular travel to various offices and sites supports these duties, along with procuring business from FDOT districts and other municipal entities. • Provide leadership and managerial direction to achieve regional goals. • Lead discipline marketing and business development, including cross‑selling services. • Oversee billing and collections. • Coordinate resource sharing and staffing with geographic discipline leaders. • Manage regional training, staff procurement, and development. • Monitor staff utilization and take corrective action. • Ensure compliance with CED policies, especially the Health and Safety Program. • Travel regularly to regional offices and sites. • Procure and maintain business with FDOT districts, water/wastewater districts, CFX, GMA, counties, cities, and municipalities.

What You Bring

Candidates must have over 20 years of transportation construction experience, a valid US driver’s license, and a bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering. Prior FDOT experience and proven team‑management skills are required, along with strong leadership, decisive decision‑making, and computer proficiency. The role demands the ability to work outdoors for extended periods, strong mathematics, communication, attention to detail, and fluency in English. • 20+ years of transportation construction experience. • Valid US driver’s license. • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering. • Prior FDOT experience. • Experience managing teams. • Strong leadership and decisive decision‑making skills. • Proficiency with computers and software adaptation. • Ability to work outdoors on project sites for extended periods. • Strong mathematics and communication skills. • High attention to detail. • Fluency in English (read, write, comprehend).
