About the Role
The role involves hand‑lifting light loads on and off the paint line, operating forklifts and other material‑handling equipment to move heavy loads, and conducting visual inspections of parts emerging from the cooldown oven to verify film thickness and appearance. Operators also adjust the powder flow from oscillating heads and perform routine quality checks as directed. Team members follow established procedures, keep work areas clean and organized according to 5S standards, and comply with all safety and industrial‑hygiene requirements, including proper PPE usage. They collaborate with colleagues to meet customer orders, solve production obstacles, and contribute Lean improvement ideas for quality, process efficiency, and environmental safety. Routine preventive maintenance is performed to ensure equipment performs at peak levels. • Hand‑lift light loads onto and off the paint line. • Operate forklifts and material‑handling equipment to load, unload, transport, and position heavy loads. • Perform visual inspections of parts from the cooldown oven for proper film thickness and appearance. • Check and adjust powder flow from oscillating heads. • Conduct quality checks and continuously seek improvement methods. • Execute work assignments from management and internal customers to meet order deadlines. • Follow established procedures and complete special projects as assigned. • Comply with safety and industrial‑hygiene standards, using proper PPE. • Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S principles. • Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer needs and product requirements. • Apply analytical and problem‑solving skills to resolve production obstacles. • Recommend Lean improvements for quality, processes, and environmental safety. • Perform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment. • Use hand tools to assemble and verify quality in a Lean environment.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a high‑school diploma or GED, be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, and reside within a 50‑mile radius of Greenwood, SC (active‑duty military personnel are exempt). Prior painting experience in a fabrication setting and forklift experience or willingness to learn are required. Strong verbal and written communication, persuasive abilities, analytical problem‑solving skills, and flexibility to work overtime are also essential. • Hold a high school diploma or GED. • Be authorized to work in the U.S. without corporate sponsorship now and in the future. • Reside within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC (active‑duty military exempt). • Possess prior painting experience in a fabrication environment. • Have forklift experience or be willing to learn. • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication, persuasive, and analytical problem‑solving abilities. • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as business needs require.
