About the Role

The specialist will act as a brand ambassador, marketing Gensler through various tools, technologies, and social media platforms. They will manage the full recruiting lifecycle, providing an exceptional candidate experience from research and sourcing through offer acceptance, targeting both active and passive talent from emerging candidates to executive leadership. Sourcing responsibilities include networking with employees, professional organizations, LinkedIn, and other channels, while developing innovative engagement strategies to build active candidate networks and employer branding both externally and internally. The role requires continuously building a pipeline of targeted prospects, serving as a trusted advisor to candidates, and delivering regular reporting, metrics, and analysis to track progress against recruitment demand. The specialist will advise business stakeholders on market trends, competitor information, and talent acquisition strategies, uphold commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and manage new screening and assessment tools aligned with firm values. Partnering with leaders, they will provide interview training, act as a strategic advisor across the region, and foster a culture consistent with Gensler’s values and strategic goals. • Serve as Gensler brand ambassador, promoting the firm via tools, technology, and social media. • Manage full-cycle recruiting, ensuring a superior candidate experience from sourcing to offer acceptance. • Source talent through employee networks, professional organizations, LinkedIn, and other channels. • Create innovative candidate engagement and employer branding strategies to build active talent pipelines. • Continuously develop relationships with prospects, acting as a trusted advisor. • Provide regular recruitment metrics, reporting, and market trend analysis to stakeholders. • Design and implement screening and assessment tools that support diversity, equity, and inclusion. • Partner with leaders to train on interview techniques and advise on talent acquisition strategy. • Act as strategic advisor and integrator across the South Central Region, fostering firm values.

What You Bring

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, HR or a related field (preferred), 10+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, preferably in AEC or professional services, and strong data‑driven talent acquisition skills. Experience with an Applicant Tracking System—Workday preferred—strong organizational and communication abilities, proactive collaboration, and the capacity to manage ambiguity and multiple priorities are essential. The position is in‑person and open to candidates residing in the Dallas, Houston, or Kansas City areas. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, HR, or related field (preferred). • Possess 10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience; AEC or professional services background preferred. • Demonstrate data-driven talent acquisition expertise and proficiency with ATS (Workday preferred). • Exhibit strong organization, communication, and relationship-building skills across all levels. • Ability to manage multiple priorities, ambiguity, and maintain confidentiality. • Must be willing to work in-person in Dallas, Houston, or Kansas City.
