About the Role
The role includes taking customers’ food and drink orders, collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure prompt and correct delivery, and memorizing the menu to recommend appetizers, meals, and drinks. Employees deliver a memorable dining experience by resolving customer issues, serving food and beverages in a friendly manner, and maintaining the dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude. They also prepare tables, set decorations and condiments, clean and reset tables, and handle janitorial tasks in food service areas. For special events, eligible students may prepare alcoholic or non‑alcoholic beverages, interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks. They assess customer preferences, mix cocktails, present the bar menu, verify legal drinking age, restock bar inventory, and maintain a guest‑focused experience. • Take food and drink orders and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff. • Recommend menu items and wine selections to guests. • Resolve customer issues promptly to ensure a memorable dining experience. • Set, clean, and reset tables, including decorations, condiments, and utensils. • Perform janitorial tasks in food service areas. • Prepare alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages for special events. • Mix cocktails, present bar menus, and verify customers’ legal drinking age. • Restock bar inventory and supplies. • Maintain a guest‑focused attitude and enthusiastic dining ambiance.

What You Bring
The position requires excellent oral communication, positive interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. Candidates must have a Food Handlers Card, basic English proficiency, and a high school diploma (preferred). Additional requirements include patience, a customer‑oriented approach, the ability to work in all weather conditions, lift up to 20 lb regularly (up to 40 lb with assistance), and availability for all shifts, holidays, and weekends. • Hold a Food Handlers Card and possess basic English proficiency. • Lift 20 lb regularly (40 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
