About the Role

In this role you will create and maintain detailed project schedules, integrate inputs from engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning, and produce performance metrics for executive reporting. You will also conduct critical‑path analysis, assess risks, and support continuous improvement of schedule processes while ensuring compliance with contract and company standards. • Develop and maintain LSM and CPM Primavera P6 schedules for utility transmission, substation, and renewable projects. • Build resource- and cost‑loaded schedules aligned with project baselines and execution strategies. • Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning inputs; link WBS to FBS for accurate forecasting and cash flow. • Generate earned value metrics, schedule KPIs, and cash flow reports for project controls and executive reporting. • Perform critical‑path analysis, what‑if scenarios, productivity tracking, and time‑impact assessments. • Identify schedule risks, evaluate sequencing, and recommend mitigation strategies. • Support look‑ahead planning, short‑interval schedules, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Ensure schedule documentation complies with contract and company standards.

What You Bring

The Scheduler (Primavera P6) role is based in Denver, Colorado, with up to 20 % domestic travel and relocation assistance available for qualified candidates. QISG seeks experienced schedulers to support utility transmission, high‑voltage T‑Line, substation, and renewable interconnection projects across EPC, Design‑Build, and CMAR delivery models. The position partners with project managers, engineers, and field teams to develop and maintain resource‑loaded schedules throughout planning, construction, and commissioning phases. Ideal candidates have at least five years of scheduling experience on utility transmission lines and substations, advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, and familiarity with linear scheduling and schedule‑analysis tools such as TILOS or Deltek Acumen. Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills are essential, as is a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field is preferred. • Minimum 5 years of scheduling experience on utility transmission lines (T‑Line) and substations. • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, including cost‑ and resource‑loaded schedule development. • Experience with linear scheduling, large‑scale site work, and long‑lead equipment schedules for utility projects. • Familiarity with TILOS, Deltek Acumen Fuse/Risk, or similar schedule analysis tools. • Proven ability to collaborate with engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams. • Strong communication and influencing skills across multiple departments. • Highly organized, self‑motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced environments. • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or related field preferred. • Up to 20% domestic travel required.
