About the Role

The position is based in Chantilly, VA, supporting customers with mission‑critical capabilities for intelligence‑gathering from overhead systems. The engineer acts as a technical advisor, performing complex space‑system analysis for SIGINT, COMINT, FISINT, and ELINT communities. • Conduct mission analysis assessments and studies for the program office. • Coordinate architecture impact assessments, trades, and performance evaluations with enterprise and senior engineering leadership. • Develop, test, and validate system assessment methodologies and tools such as STK, SOAP, MATLAB, and custom software. • Perform analysis of space systems, performance metrics, timelines, and models, including orbital threat assessments and trade studies. • Communicate technical findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences and interface with customers and engineering teams to devise resolution strategies. • Generate and maintain technical documentation and reports.
