About the Role
The Maintenance Technician assists with operation troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs across commercial buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned properties. The role operates in a professional office environment, using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Employees regularly communicate with others, operate computers, move about the workplace, and perform tasks that require standing briefly and extending arms in any direction. • Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems, including packaging machinery, plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, grounds equipment, and HVAC. • Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, and electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices. • Install and modify building equipment and systems. • Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, and paint walls, piping, floors, and equipment. • Evaluate maintenance operations and recommend upgrades or cost‑saving opportunities. • Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer service requests. • Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions and perform preventative maintenance. • Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems, including fire alarms and fire pumps. • Perform carpentry work and snow removal as needed. • Comply with applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency directives, and practice safe work habits. • Utilize technology such as smartphones, tablets, computers, web‑based applications, and building automation systems. • Follow C&W uniform dress code and maintain a neat appearance on and off the property.

What You Bring
• Demonstrate competent knowledge of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance. • Complete required C&W safety training annually. • Technical Proficiency. • Multi‑Tasking. • Sense of Urgency. • High School Diploma or GED equivalent. • 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting. • Technical, vocational or on‑the‑job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair. • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license (commercial may be required) with a good driving record. • Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
