About the Role

• Support analysis and design of TXDOT steel, prestressed concrete, and cast‑in‑place bridges under a licensed engineer’s guidance. • Prepare calculations, 2D/3D models, plan sheets, engineering reports, specifications, quantity take‑offs, and contract documents using Parsons templates. • Coordinate with roadway, drainage, and other design groups to ensure full project integration and track work of technicians or designers. • Present design concepts in internal meetings and assist with project discussions with TXDOT as needed. • Manage task timelines, complete timesheets and expense reports, and follow internal QA and documentation procedures.

What You Bring

We are seeking a talented Bridge Engineering Designer to support the design and delivery of TXDOT bridge and transportation structure projects across Texas. The role involves collaborating with internal design groups and delivering technical documents that meet TXDOT standards and Parsons templates. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related field), 3+ years of relevant experience, and an Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification. • Desired: prior TXDOT bridge or transportation design experience.
