Design and coordinate structural plans, specs, and calculations for building projects.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Review structural documents for conflicts across disciplines • Write and edit structural specifications and perform calculations • Coordinate the structural design team through design development and contract phases • Establish meetings and participate in agency reviews for code compliance • Conduct design development and contract work sessions on site with the Project Manager and other disciplines • Manage workload to complete design development and construction documents on schedule • Coordinate addenda, RFIs, change proposals, and change orders, updating project documents accordingly

What You Bring
• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis • Minimum of 3 years of structural engineering experience • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering • Professional engineering license (PE or P.Eng) required for the position location • Previous structural engineering experience • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, RISA, Staad, SAP, Tedds, RAM, ETABS, SAFE or similar tools • Experience with an architectural/engineering or consulting firm
